He should! He bought cart full after cart full at Academy in Norman back before the limits on sales. Seems like a nice guy. :thumbup3:

One less gunshop for me to frequent. No vulture/opportunist will ever receive a dime from me. Might be a "nice guy" but my definition of "nice guy" doesn't have "_u_k the customer" in it!

However, if this is all heresay, BS, I have no problem going down to check it out.

If he's selling a bunch of "Monarch" branded ammo, is that a dead giveaway??? lol

I'm not sure, isn't that Academy's "house" brand?

Guys, I just told you I personally witnessed them buying thousands of dollars of ammo at Academy.. Unless he has sold it all, it will be all kinds. Tons of Tula 7.62x39 too. I'm not saying its bad, I am sure it is hard to get an ammo hookup when you are just starting out, but it's for his business and he paid tax exempt.

Actually, no, you didn't say you personally witnessed it. You said it happened, without that qualification. But it is good to know that you did see it yourself.

Reminds me of when I was at WalMart one night, bought a few hundred dollars worth of ammo... the guy behind the counter asked me who I worked for. I was puzzled (honestly) and told him I was self-employed (I am). He looked puzzled then, and I was even more puzzled. Told him I was just a guy buying ammo for myself. I didn't really understand what he was getting at, at the time. It wasn't until later when someone mentioned people buying it up to resell in shops that the light bulb finally went on in my head, lol.

Oh well... I need to get out and shoot. :(

Well, actually I should have phrased it a little better, but I did say that I saw him at the Stillwater show as well. You are supposed to read my mind! :hypnotize: :P
