Numbers released Monday show that the FBI ran 192,749 National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) background checks on Black Friday 2022.

I went to pick up a rifle yesterday at my FFL and the online system was down. So he called and was disconnected from the call. I have to go back today to try again. Just another reason why the NICS system shouldn’t exist.
