Gun-Friendly Parking near OKC VAMC?

Got an appointment there next month, coming from Muskogee. You're not supposed to have a firearm in a federal parking lot. Any decent parking near there?

In Tulsa I park in the grass across the street (access road) on the advice of the gate guard.


Of course, right now, I don't carry period. Expired license. I know... big attention-paying fale for me.

Parking there sucks. Not as bad as the Muskogee VA but it is not much better. There are Gun Buster signs. I have found parking along the side roads. Also the parking garage to OU is not far either. I am not sure if you will be up for the walk or not.
