He has no “rights” being illegally in this country.
How did he come in possession of the firearm? Did he fill out and lie on a 4473?, or obtain it illegally. Evidently to the judge, that’s not a concern.

I say pass it. Elections have consequences. The next politicians could approve resettlement of illegals. With a law on the books, it would make it more difficult. We have too many illegals in Oklahoma that got here by other means than a free ride by politicians.

IIRC, the SCOTUS has previous ruled that immigrants, legal or illegally here, do have some constitutional protections. Things like equal protection and illegal search and seizure come to mind.

That is to say, some articles refer to citizens and some to 'people'. Or at least what i remember from CONLAW, though it's been a while.

I see this as a win for the 2nd amendment. This guy was carrying in Chicago. If he can carry there, anyone can.
