YUP. this pretty much sums it up. and it's just going to get much worse.

TEXAS RISING!

Yep, Texas born and raised, lived here all my life.

The Libtards have been working it hard even before this supposed "disaster" trying to convince Texans they are better off under Democrat rule. Beto getting close to Cruz gave them hope, they think they can take Texas. They will if we don't fight back.

Quit blaming Abbott, quit blaming Cruz. This is all because the Obama administration went hard at Texas with the EPA and forced us to shut down coal plants and build wind turbines.

From 2014...

At issue are new Federal rules to cut pollution from power plants. Each state would have to come up with a plan that would cut carbon pollution, or greenhouse gases, by an average of 30 percent in less than two decades. Texas, with all its refineries and a lot of coal-burning power plants, is the largest producer of greenhouse gases and is being asked to cut more emissions than other states.

Abbott, while AG, fought their ass for years...

The Attorney General has made no secret of the enjoyment he gets out of filing suits against the administration and the EPA. “What I really do for fun is I go into the office,” Abbott said recently, “[and] I sue the Obama administration.”

https://stateimpact.npr.org/texas/2...-dollars-in-texas-epa-lawsuits-are-a-bargain/

So quit letting the left set the false narrative. FIGHT BACK WITH THE TRUTH!!!!

Just out of curiosity, what would have been the consequences if TX had ignored Federal emissions rules to keep things running during the crisis?

excellent question .. costs to Texas in $billions for damages to private parties. VS fines to utilities?

then factor utilities passing huge spot prices resulting in potential $5,000+ electric bills.

If President Trump was still in Office, he would be in Texas (and the other affected states) right now, helping bring supplies, meeting with families and first responders and overseeing the recovery response.

Texas Blackout Deception
Clear Energy Alliance
Published on Feb 21, 2021

nicely put together video.
but so many theories thrown around, it's hard to know what to believe. assuming his numbers are correct?

at 1:50 he goes into numbers. wind makes up 23% of total grid capacities. he claims wind dropped by 93%.
coal increased by 47%, gas increased by massive 450%

2019 cost per MWH ranged from .30cents for gas, hydro .53cents, coal .73cents, nuclear $1.93, $18.88 for wind.

all the financial incentives are on wind. why invest in gas generation when return are .30cents per KWH, when wind is paying $18.88 per KWH ..
