Never met the man but he purchased a unmolested centergrip 7mmBR Remington XP-100 from me several years ago, to rebarrel in a caliber that I can't recall, and used it on a few of his many hunts.
We did have a few lengthy telephone conversations through the years and I always enjoyed picking his brain on hunting handguns.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.....RIP.
