I wonder how much you charge me to make kydex sheaths like this for my Kukris (probably .093 kydex)? This is a prototype I made using schedule 20 PVC. I don't have any of the foam to make a press so I just use a heat gun and leather gloves. Works, but it's not efficient. I can do all the finish work (drilling the holes, sanding, etc...), I just need the actual press work done.

Whats the OAL of the blade you want covered? My press is 11.5 x 12 inches and kydex is .080
I'm designing a bigger and better press that operates like my rivet press so there is no "pull in" when closing. (I got a big revolver I want done so i need a bigger press already). the one i got now works fine for service size pistols and smaller.

Run down to Lowes and get a kneeling pad from the Home and garden section. cut it in half, sandwich it between a few pieces of wood and you have your own press.
(Protip: Use sheet of thin fabric (cut up t-shirt) between the foam and hot kydex for better results and no sticking)

I've used this foam for quite a few projects that came out every bit as nice as the foam you can buy from Knifekits.com or similiar

I picked up two squares of smart foam from hobby lobby, glued it down to two pieces of cut plywood and used it for my kydex press. I use 4 clamps bought from harbor freight to keep it pressed together while the kydex cools around a knife / gun. Cheap and and it works.

Bought my .08 kydex, and eyelets from knifekits.com. I use a vice to press my rivets using a knifekits eyelet flaring die. Tandy leather factory in Tulsa has eyelets, rivets, grommet setters, eyelet setters and scrap pieces of leather for making belt loops or larger pieces of leather to make a holster similar to crossbreed. I'll get some pictures up later of my setup.
