I never have, but pretty sure my sister did back when she was at the Air Force Academy...she was a staff member, they gave her and her (then) husband housing, it was a duplex....while my sister never experienced anything, my ex-bro-in-law did, as well as the adjoining neighbors, they got the brunt of it....their Jack Russell terrier would wake up in the middle of the night staring down the hallway just growling...BIL would get up and look around, nothing, but he said the hallway would be ice cold....when he was there by himself, he would take a shower and when he would get out, the bathroom would be so cold he could see his breath....they kept the dog in the basement in a pen that he built, everyday, that dog got out, or was let out....he is somewhat of a tough guy...but he hated being there by himself cuz he said he never felt alone in the house....their neighbors though....they would have things turn on and off by themselves, all the cabinet doors would be open when they get up in the morning, doors open and closed, and the creepiest part....they would hear giggling in the middle of the night.

what kinda weirdo would hang out in peoples house without their permission and just giggle!?

I confess........................................it was me :hithead:

Would LOVE to visit a haunted house, ghost, spirit,...whatever.

As a kid growing up in the country(nearest neighbor was 3 miles away) I roamed the countryside.

I've played many a time in old (1920's and older) abandoned farm houses. Every three miles an old school house was built so the kids...way back when...wouldn't have far to walk.

Graveyards were plentiful also...even old family cemetaries.

In other words...when I coonhunted as a kid 7-12 years old, with a friend or by myself, I've spent the night MANY a time in those buildings. Curled up with a .22 or .410 and a couple of hounds.

One old school had a cemetary next to it and I spent the nighg there because of a bad thunder storm. It kinda scared me for a few mimutes. Then I thought heck, most of those people buired there I knew, know their family or are some how related to them....I calmed down.

Then one night I camped out of a known old house where the lady owner hanged herself.
It scared a couple of my buddies, but hounds and myself...along with a .410, had a good nights sleep.

Last one...I promise. I had an old rent house/farm way out in the sticks. I had central heat and air put in and the old house was so tight..when the air kicked on some of the doors closed.

Well one night I took my new bride to spend the weekend there. No renters and I thought we could fish in the ponds and shoot some guns. She is a city slicker scardie cat and jumps at anything that goes bump in the night.

Well it was getting around midnight and I knew the airconditioner had kickecd on. My wife watched in horror as the bedroom door slowly...inch by inch...opened. She sat straight up in bed and was grabbing at her chest/heart. I told her to calm down, it was only Elmer. She asked "Who the hell is Elmer". I told her the old farmer that died in this house thirty years ago.

The only way I can describe how she acted after I calmly told her that...well. Imagine taking a wild house cat in both hands and trying to toss it in a tub full of water.

When she found out it...later on...it was just the air conditioner. Lets just say, she cut off the marriage activities for two months. Trust me...I don't play those jokes on her like that anymore.

Would love to see and talk to a ghost.
