This sounds suspiciously like a 9mm falling from a coffee table in a thread the long term members may remember.
How does one hide a gun in a shoe? Half a foot amputated leaving a “space”?

"Hit it with a vacuum cleaner and it fell off the coffee table" and it discharged....... damn XDs... something must be wrong with them.

Would like to hear more about this. I have two NAA .22s. I carry one in my boot. I always have both .22s in the safety position.
in the 80's I had 1 in my pocket , fumbled it taking it out dropped on the hammer on concrete and fired

Wow, maybe they should have carried the 1980's story about a drunk guy walking up his stairs twirling a .357 Magnum, tripping over his cat and shooting himself in the lip... true story, I was at the hospital er that night. He tried to pass it off as a "fat lip" caused by tripping walking up his stairs, the powder burns on his face said otherwise. Only found out the truth when he was telling his brother who was a police officer and a nurse overheard it.
