Put up the trap first part of the week. Thursday night the pigs showed up, but we weren't able to schedule a lead injection on Friday morning so we let em have a free meal. Friday night they no showed but early Sunday morning they couldn't resist the temptation for some free corn. Made a short phone call and they were buttoned up with nowhere to go. 15 pigs this trip. 2 more stragglers. The spot looked like she was about to domino. The black one may have already had a litter within a few days.

Sent 2 boars to the market this evening. Foggy and drizzling, but managed to take out 2 before they made it the 10 yards to the trees. Made it to the steakhouse a little before 8 for a filet mignon. Not a bad evening. They will go about 140 pounds each live weight. 106 yards to the first one that dropped in its tracks. 2nd one made it about 20 yards further before expiring from a shot on the run.
