if anyone feels like shooting with a fellow OSA i will be there before noon today.
Must load a few more .243 bullets for another ladder test and see if i can destroy a remington .308 case.

Yes and I am back already.
My car gets 40MPG so it is cheaper than paying. And i reload my ammo right out of the back of my Geo to do the testing.
Only a few feet to the shooting bench.

Only $5.25 in fuel cost. Sometimes a buddy goes with me and we stay longer and the buddy usually buys lunch on the way back or dinner whichever it is.

What is cool is the weather..WOW.
And the ladder test proved nothing..
I did another ladder test at 200 yards with a different powder. That proved a few things.
IMR4350 87gr Vmax .243.

From start load to just below max load in Lapua cases.

1/2gr steps 12 rounds fired..5 minutes rest between each shot.
The last 4 shots were larger than 18" spread, one was not even in the same zip code, missed the 2foot by 2 foot board .. first 5 shots were 8" or so.
shots 6-7 and 8 were in a triangle about 1.5" spread.
That is cool.

My .308 has a new favorite load that i will try to tweak a bit.. 3 shots at 200 yards 2 different days under .6" center to center.
Of course this was not Lexington range.
