Never seen one before....I thought it was pretty neat. He was spraying beans and got low enough you couldn't see him if there was corn in the way....got to the end of the field and full tilt to clear the irrigation pivot.
They had a truck with a landing pad on a trailer with the chemical tanks below it. Watched a few passes then he docked to refill fuel and chemicals. Pretty cool I thought.

He got off the pad for a bit. Thought he was gonna spray more then a truck came with more chemicals but when he gets up you can see the spray booms and watch him dock again. Not super exciting but cool IMO.

Lost a good friend who did a lot of aerial spraying out of a bird he owned. Him and son went down, son survived he died at the scene. Was a helluva pilot, flew us around on high line jobs along time ago. It takes alot of money to make that money and not the safest occupation. in his words “If sh@$ hits the fan your life expectancy is about 3 seconds.”

We have a helicopter sprayer come to Osage county every year. They base at the Osage Casino and go out from there. So many trees that it would be tough for a crop duster plane to get good coverage of the spray, but the helicopter is perfect for that job.

A good pilot, I don't know about him breathing/absorbing, all these chimicals? Looks like that would be worse than using a plane?
