Welcome and my wife and I like N.C.
For about 6 years we use to fly to Charlotte and go north to Mooresville to visit family. At that time brother-in-law worked as a tire specialist and Safety Equipment specialist for several different NASCAR Teams.
Lake Norman is a very nice lake.
Really liked Asheville and the Biltmore.
Visited Boone and Grandfather Mountain.
Visited Richard Petty Museum in his hometown of Randleman.
Enjoyed the NASCAR Hall of Fame in downtown Charlotte and also Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord.
The trees are Tall in N.C as compared to most of Oklahoma.
I would like to see more of N.C. someday if possible.

Where 'bouts in N.C.? Former boss lives in Waxhaw. He keeps telling me to come visit.
I’m in the Asheville area.

Yeah, Asheville is pretty nice. Some beautiful things to see...like Biltmore. Alittle liberal compared to other parts of the state. Wife and I are fairly new residents to NC. We lived in the PNW for the last 10 years. We moved out here to be closer to family. Have family in Asheville and also in Atlanta. They didn’t want to move out west. I think we made a great decision. The people here in the South are so much friendlier compared to out west. Seriously, it is night and day difference.
