Some folks recently cut down a tree in my neighborhood and there's a honeycomb inside. I read a thread about someone capturing wild bees one time to get them into man made hives producing honey and to prevent them from getting killed by exposure. I don't know if their is a way to get these bees out of the tree trunk or not, but if one of you guys that knows about that sort of things wants to try, shoot me a PM - I'll tell you where it is. I might come watch... at distance of course LOL!

This reminds me of the time when I was a kid, and my sisters, a few cousins, and I were poking around in the woods behind my aunt's house. I accidentally bumped into a bee hive hanging from a tree branch, and we all scattered in a hurry. When we assembled back at the house, I was the only one out of six who didn't get stung. None of the others were too pleased to find that out :wink2:
