When they Closed down MCAS Tustin, they found contaminated ground water from the wash bay we used to use. It was from the engine degreaser that we used.

Now there are 1000s of homes and shopping centers on the former Tustin base. I was told stories that Tustin and El Toro would have helocopters doing training "things" on the base and would always dump their fuel on the tarmac and surrounding ground on the base. Superfund nightmare.

Yup they are annoying…e-mail tv web sites. I lived there 61-64 in base housing and went to the on base DOD school. Thankfully no cancer but a host of other issues. I filed but doubt I’ll see a cent. The lawyers will take most of it as usual.
