Figured I would start a thread for high quality images of firearms and accessories.
This is something I would like to bring over from another forum. The rules and guidelines are a direct copy and paste as I feel this is probably the best way to lay them out.
Lets start a thread dedicated to some high quality images. Its hard to determine what a high quality image from other images so maybe a few guidelines:
You don't need an amazing camera, or an extremely high resolution image, preferably a very clear image though. The key is lighting. Some images off my phone are better than the ones people quickly take of there gun with standard cameras when the lights in the room, taken with a flash, tinted yellow with feet in the picture.
In other words, I would like to think maybe a better way for deciding if an image belongs here is weather or not the user took his/her time with the picture to make sure the lighting was right and the image was clear. I'll have fun looking at whats out there!
So for quick and easy suggestions, one rule I think should be that any image taken on the living room carpet floor, or on the kitchen table, or those which have feet in the bottom of the image should automatically be disqualified for this thread. Remember, this is not a thread for high quality firearms (though there are many that will be high quality) this is a thread for high quality images. Again, not that judging an images quality is something easily done, but without listing a ton of rules I think we can determine the quality of images.
Last and final set of rules, lets keep this to a single photo post per user per day. I know it is easy to dump all your pics in one post, but lets try and keep this spread out. Lets keep the discussion to a minimum as this is a picture thread. You can post a quick description describing your photo or items in the photos if you wish. Lastly, please keep the pics sized where we can see the whole thing without scrolling.
