My house is in the middle of a 5 acre square. I have had many people over the years comment that I spend a lot of time mowing. Yep, I like it to look nice, but in the back of my mind I know that short grass burns different than long grass. I have lake close south of me, so winter is the time of year I am concerned most. Thanks for all the posts, information, and suggestions. I never thought about sprinklers on the roof if you might know fire could be headed my way.. Great idea.
