No, no they are not. General aluminum windows are absolutely the biggest pieces of **** windows available. Our house was built in 2003, we've had all of the windows replaced under warranty (10 years) due to broken seal and moisture forming between the panes, the new windows, less than 3 years old have the same problem. You can drive through my neigborhood and pick out the houses with General Aluminum windows because those are the windows that are fogged. I have actually considered contacting the neighbors and trying to organaize a lawsuit against General Aluminum. I guess that I should talk to that JB Brooks fella.

I don't doubt it. About 90-95% of window problems are from incorrect installation. I put several in my house and I'm going to finish my house with all of them. Of course I'm installing them myself. Neighbor had had his GA's forever with no problems.
