Have you tried Hornady Critical Defense? Feeds like an RB, and expands very well.

Try Wilson Combat mags.

This is actually a good idea. A great deal of pistol feeding issues rest with the mag. It may not be a Wilson mag that will work but the idea is that your pistol may like certain mags better. Borrow some if you can before a purchase. Just a thought

wilson or tripp mags are good advice. there are a ton of reasons a 1911 does not feed. I would try the cheap stuff first like a stronger recoil spring. The main spring is not your problem. but I would try good mags first. I also agree with whoever said to shoot ball if it likes ball.
