How would you ship guns and ammo to someone’s FFL?

I am thinking about trying to sell a firearm on the Smith and Wesson forum. If it were to sell, how could I ship the firearm to someone’s FFL?

Take it to your FFL and have them ship it. It's easier that way.

Most FFLs won't take individual ID for a sale, they want a dealer to dealer transfer.

Shipping as an individual can be a pain, as certain carriers won't ship unless you're an FFL, and it's expensive.

If it is a long gun USPS, if a handgun Fed ex or UPS and if it is out of state i believe you have to go thru a FFL on your end also not for sure thou on a long gun.

It's a good question. If it is a long gun - rifle or shotgun - it can be shipped whatever way you find convenient such as the USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.
If it is a hand gun, you may not ship it through the USPS. Only an FFL can ship handguns via the post office(USPS).

Also, if you are going to put that 29-2 on the S&W forum, change the grip out for your photos. That place is my usual stomping ground, I've sold and bought a lot of guns there. They'd appreciate the factory stocks being on there.

If you sell, make sure their FFL will accept from an individual, simple save $, live better, Walmart...
