As guns, parts and ammo slowly reemerge on the retail shelves, I find humor in the classified ads, Armslist posters and Gunbroker auction listers that somehow think their items are worth 100% markup.

There was a point where foolish or anxious people were throwing stupid amounts of money at sellers, but that time seems to have passed. Hope to see reasonable prices by late spring.

Unsafe. You are dead nuts right about this. Pmags are back to thirty a pc and dropping. I'd buy some if they were local. But hey I'll wait.
Ammo is available every time I walk in to a wal mart now.

Patience.

Yes, I'm even picking up my 9mm brass because it seems like a good idea, haven't seen ammo of use to me in a while and am waiting on 2 back ordered BCG's, but I will not participate in the craziness of late.

I walked around 2A today looking at prices... Pretty gougy, but in the same business sense, I wouldn't give a customer a great deal just so he/she could flip it for profit.

I'm not mad at any retailers really. If they normally sell 50 rifles a month to keep the lights on and now there only getting 5 to 10 a month with no guarantee on that then I too would be selling them for whatever I could get out of it. With that being said I still applaud the guys that are keeping the prices somewhat normal. It's no big deal for sporting good stores that don't depend solely on gun sales to keep the doors open but a lot of our supporters on here do.
