Just saw some .22lr M&P pistol mags for sale. 100 bucks a piece and they had bids on them. When did a magazine for a 22 pistol become coated in gold ?
That's what I keep seeing in the ammo case at the east-side WalMart in Norman--they've even put the Dove & Quail loads in the case. Then again, that's not surprising; it's just about the most poorly-stocked WalMart I've ever seen, and if something's in stock, they've moved it somewhere else in the store. (They remodeled that place a couple of years ago; I'm convinced they did it because a customer was able to find the same thing in the same place twice in a row.)
I was looking at Gunbroker yesterday and seeing AR-15's , Rock River, Bushmaster, DPMS going for less than $1300, and quite a few around that price with no bids. Glock magazines are still rediculous.
Buy or don't buy.
It's all about making a good decision.

Got a Cheaper Than Dirt circular in the mail yesterday. Lots of ammo and mags advertised but no prices on any of it...odd.
It's unfortunately only a coincidence that Cheaper Than Dirt (CTD) has the same initials as the economist's initialism for "circling the drain."

The spokesmen for Federal and for Winchester both said if the ammo shortage ended today, it would be next July before everything was caught up to how behind they were last October before the surge and that they have been behind going on 6 years now and see no end in sight. This was at the 2013 SHOT show.
Does that mean permanent .75 ammo? Well if you shop at King's Pawn in Del city yeah but for the rest of us, no. It'll be better in a year or so and maybe back to normal in two.

I hate having to sit on the Ammo I have left. Have not been to the gun range this year due to the lack of the 9mm available.
