i have shot hundreds of rounds through the PA-63 and i love it. it is a great dependable firearm. the only thing i dont like is the long DA trigger. my grandfather and my grandmother both carry one. they are great little CC guns.

What is the website for SOG?

AGB

What is the Wolff spring kit used for, reducing recoil or trigger pull?

Not AGB. but it does both, the lighter hammer spring really improves the DA pull. You can go to a 9lb but 11lb is the best/more reliable. Wolff sells a spring kit with the various springs including 3 hammer springs of various poundage's.

One thing about the 63's. They're light and easy to carry because they have an alloy frame. Should be good for most Mak ammo, but some of the crazy super-hot loads with heavy bullets might end up wearing it down quicker than a "real" Mak's steel frame. Stick with bullets around 95gr (which is a vast majority of 9mm Mak ammo) and you should be fine.

My brother had a very early import 63, and we enjoyed the crap out of it. Except for it's Hercules-proof double action trigger, it was a very intuitive shooter.
