Hunt with curs?

Does anyone on here hunt with mountain cur dogs? If so what do you hunt with them and what blood line are they? Also, does anyone know of any good OMCBA registered cur breeders in Oklahoma?

My dad has one that we hunt coon with. Hes more of a sight dog than any thing.

I use mine for both coon and squirrels. We have a lot of fun with them and I've been looking for a registered female puppy to train and eventually breed to my male dog.

I know a lot of hog hunters who use Black Mouth Curs, but no-one that uses Mountain Curs. Sorry. Try Google-ing for breeders lists, there should be some close.

My son has a male over at Stroud and uses it for coyotes. Dog has a super nose and a lot have called him to find lost downed deer.

I use mine to hunt anything. I would call her an all around dog. She's an excellent, and well behaved dog. Very obedient. She's half Mountain Cur, and half Mountain Fiest.
