I'm sorry, but why would Hollywood "need" high capacity clips and assault weapons, just to make a film? Are they saying that it would be impossible to make a film with non-assault weapons an 7 round magazines? Will it suddenly emasculate the "hero" or make the villain less "villainous"? And why would they need real guns to film a movie? With the advancements in CG technology, they could easily use much safer and less evil fake guns by simply adding the gunfire effects in post-production. Using a real gun on set is the reason Brandon Lee, Jon-Erik Hexum and Antonio Velasco were all killed while filming. After all, if it saves the life of just one actor, its worth it!

He said movies and TV may use fake guns that wouldn't be subject to the new law but the industry wants "certainty." The revised law would allow them to use real weapons without real ammunition.</snip>
