yukon ok
weekends are for the wife and other family.
Thanks for the invite though.. and I have not found a load it likes yet.. I think I need to hone the throats .0005 more.
In fact I will be doing this before I head back out to shoot it.
I will be trying unique and red dot with 200gr and 255gr.

I must trim all my 357 mag brass shorter than book length or it will not fit my German revolver.
Factory rounds sometimes fit and other times will not depending on how much crimp and how long the crimp.
Most of the time they do not fit.

So I never say never with this in mind..

I assume you measure your brass everytime? Takes just a second, I do it when doing general inspection of cases.
In general I found that cases don't change, or shorten, but occasionally some actually lengthen. Maybe 2-3/100.
Sometimes I set those aside and wait until 10-20 accumulate and then trim them to recommended trim length. Sometimes I just trim the couple I find.

One of the major advantages of reloading is precision. So, I take the time do be as precise as possible...even with pistol rounds. I don't shoot huge volumes. Like Swamprat, I use a single stage press, so 100 rounds is about all I can do at a time.

Only brass I measure anymore is rifle brass, and most of it is dedicated to one gun and neck sized only, it grows
very little(.002-.003) if any.
Most pistol(semiauto) brass actually shrinks upon sizing.
