I'm praying for you son. I have long observed that when it comes to praying for sick folks, the less there is wrong with them, the better it works.

Is it tough for you to convince a hypochondriac of his healin'?

Prayers sent for you and so everyone knows, in the Shawnee,Tecumseh area there is a horrible stomach virus going around that takes several days to get over. Nausea,vomitting,diarhea severe stomach pain. Only thing to do is fight the symptoms.

It always amazes me that there is no central way to report this stuff to like the Board of Health. It should be required at every care clinic that if a case of suspected food poisoning comes in the door, they have to report possible causative locations to the Board of Health. If enough reports came in on one place, it would have to be investigated.

I would think you can find a way to report things on that site somewhere.

Once in high school, 2 week stay in the hospital, then on a gov't sponsored trip via Uncle Sam to Egypt. It wasn't food poisoning, it was the bottled water they had there for us. Trust me you never want to run a 100+ temp in 120+ degree weather. One of the few time's I can say I was ready to have someone put me out of my misery, of course there were about 30 others feeling the same, and rank had no privilege!!!!

I got really bad food poisoning from the Goldies by Utica square once. I was sick bad for about 6 days. Probably should have went to the hospital but I ended up ok. I can't remember what I ate but it doesn't matter, after that I'm never eating there again. Hope you feel better real soon man, I know it sucks!

That one got me last month. Me and my son went there for lunch, the wife was in St Johns recovering from surgery. We usually eat at the original one on Lewis or the one on 61st and Sheriden with no problems. But that day I knew what was wrong with me and where I got it later that evening. Luckily I was already in a hospital when it hit me and just went down stairs to their ER. I always thought it was just old or weak people that got food poisening. Found out it isnt. Ive now added that place to my list of 'no returns'.
