I just killed the 8th scorpion inside my house for this year. Last year it was only 5.
They seem to really start moving around in the heat of Aug and Sep.

I know they are squeezing through the weather seal on my front door but haven't been able to stop them.

Anyone have any tips?

Ortho Home Defense Max is powerless against them.

We've killed more in our house this year that last as well. Having light brown carpet doesn't help things a damn bit. Some of them (like Brown Recluse) seem to be coming up through the drains. I've caught one in the bathtub this year and one in the sink. I've been told that putting borax (the real stuff, not 20 mule team) down drains every now and then will help take care of them. I'd also recommend glue traps, we've caught some with them. Also, put the legs of your beds inside of stout glass jars - they can't climb glass.

Here's a pic of a recent one.

Thanks

I think I'll put some glue traps by the door I'm fairly certain they are entering.
I'll also try the borax thing if I can find it.
