I got this today in an e-mail and thought I would share it. I love being on their mailing list.

Bob --

When you made a commitment to vote, you told us why you planned to cast your ballot:

"I'm voting because I want to move America forward. The only way to do that is to vote every democrat out office. I also pledge to vote against every single person that voted for your heinous 'bailout bill', the unconstitutional travesty foisted on the american people in the name of progress. Yes, I'll vote. But it will be against you and your cronies."

The choice to vote in Tuesday's election is yours. But if you want to keep America moving forward over the course of the next two years, we need you to follow up on your commitment.

Make a plan to vote tomorrow -- determine when you'll cast your ballot and how you'll get to your precinct.

Thanks,

Organizing for America,

The part in bold is exactly what I sent to them in response last week. It's a good thing they read this stuff.

As an experiment, some one should try the Republican and Libertarian parties too. Just out of curiosity.

The Libertarian party might respond appropriately. I can tell you from experience that the Republican party does not read what you send them or care what you think. All they want is your information so they can pepper you with donation requests and prattle on about how awesome they are. :(

That's the one thing I have always respected most about Inhoffe, you get a valid response. I'm about 80% sure it's from a staffer, but, it's still a specific response to your contact.
Coburn seems that way too.
When Nickles was in, I got a better response from the toilet. Actually the few times I emailed Nickles I got squat, nada, zip, zero, nothing.

I was getting 2 to 3 e-mails a week asking for $3 or more to help the 'grassroots' march to victory. All sent to 'bob' and from 'mitch, joe, leslie, barrack, or michelle'. Now I get 2 or 3 a day. They even want me to tell them when I will vote so they can send me a reminder.
I wish they paid this much attention to me after they got elected.

Coburn reads all his mail, it may take a long time to get a response, but when you do it's from him.

In This Thread you sent the President a 'Birthday Wish' and whined about being added to a mailing list.

Last week you sent the democratic party a response to the same mailing list???
And now you're miffed that your response to THAT email spurred another email??? :laugh6:

It's almost like you're just looking for something to whine about. :loser:

Wait. I whined about being added to the e-mail list? Where? When?
I said I was offended that he was 'raffling' off chances to meet him backstage like he was some American Idol wannabe, and asked if anyone else was or if I was being too sensitive. (it was all done jokingly, by the way)

I have sent several responses to the e-mails they have sent me. All honest and open about my opinions.

I'm miffed? Where do you see that? It's obvious to me that they are getting my e-mails but not reading them. Then they send me positive responses thanking me for my negative remarks. I think these e-mails are pretty typical of the way this administration does everything. They hear the people (i.e. me) but they aren't listening. I really didn't think I had to spell it out to anyone.

Are you really reading or comprehending anything in these threads? Where is your head, and is it really dark in there? :Heya:
