I need an Accutron doctor

I received another one of dads railroad watches. He said it just stopped one day. I’d like to get it fixed if it can be fixed.

Hopefully the battery didn’t detonate and leak everywhere. Alkaline damage can be near impossible to repair. It’s drastically worse than active rust on a blues barrel or receiver.

I’m going to take the back off of it when I get home from work. I’m hoping I don’t find a mess and it just needs a battery/resistor

I’ve only got one under my belt, but I know a guy who specializes in them. He currently has the Accutron I recently inherited from my grandfather. He does great work. Give me a call when you get time.
