But I don't think I'll spend that amount for a Bersa when I can get a Ruger for 800.

It’s pretty tough to find a modernized 1911 with a checkered frontstrap for under a grand (street price). This one will come down to the fine details on whether it was a good idea for Bersa to enter the already overcrowded 1911 market.

Hell...you can get a Colt for $800.

I guess this gun was shown at SHOT earlier this year. Lots of YT stuff on it. First I've heard of it.

Keep in mind, 1911s have been made in Argentina for a LONG time. It could be a really nice gun. Not for me...but for someone.
