Thought I would go to this forum for ideas on useful upgrades for my Bronco. Not looking for any Ford specific ones, just ideas on what works for comfort, safety and everyday usefulness, quality as well.

So Far I have added an Auto Start Stop Eliminator, which really has improved the driving experience (I know longer need to hit a button every time I start the vehicle.) The second upgrade is a set of for paracord rollbar grab handles which are more conveniently located than the stock ones.

Looking for those that have experience with lights, radio mounts, vaults or other upgrades that improve the everyday experience with their vehicle or make it more fun to drive. Also would like to hear of upgrades or accessories you have disliked.

Also would like to hear about exterior lighting, do you have issues with wind noise after.

Lastly, I do have enough cupholders... However I did see a nice one here fabricated from a piston!

I’m not your man about accessorizing- I spend my time trying to get rid of stuff that doesn’t have a practical function. Give me good floor mats, best legal headlight bulbs, a tow strap, and small shovel and I’m good to go. I’m too old school for light bars, fancy stereos, tv screens on dash, etc.

What’s your scope of use? Do you plan to off-road/trails? Do you plan to camp out of it? Or just on road regular use? How much are you wanting to spend?

I’m a fan of stashing a small air compressor that runs off your battery. Also a tool box stashed somewhere with a tow strap, flashlight, work gloves, some basic hand tools, etc… those things have saved my butt before

I used to have a 4Runner and I mounted a big roof rack and put LED bars all around it. It was functional! Could haul more gear and light up 360deg around at night off-road. But the wind noise on the highway was pretty ridiculous, not gonna lie.

A good quality Kinetic Rope, Soft Shackles and learn how to use them safely. Winch is good of you offroad a lot. Good air pump, airing down your tires makes for a whole lot better day off road, affords more traction.

Just depends on what you do with it. I used to beat the **** out of our built Jeeps, but they were built for it. Older now and just mostly trail ride and mining roads Colorado, Utah, Arkansas and Idaho. Mildly built one now.
