This sounds crazy but this is what I have thought about doing but never will due to the cost. That would be to sell everything I have, move to "x". Rent a place and live there six months to a year, then sell everything again and move again this time to "y". Then rinse and repeat over and over so I could live all over and have a bunch of experiences.

But seriously folks,,,
When I was in the USAF,,,
I had one of those "Join the US Armed Forces and See the World" jobs.

I spent a lot of 1-2-3 week/month periods,,,
TDY to some very exotic locations.

But believe it or not,,,
Northern Scotland was one of the most pleasant.

Absolutely beautiful country,,,
Very "friendly" locals,,,
Cheap to live.

But dang those winters were cold!

I’m in agreement with L. C. I’m right where I want to be. We’re at the end of a dead end road. Closest neighbors: to the east-1 1/2 miles. To the south- 1 1/2 miles. To the north- 2 miles. To the west, which is the direction the road comes into our property, 1 mile. So yes we are where we want to be.
