This is something that my 82 yr old mother experienced recently.
She was looking for an alternative to round up weed killer and read about using salt and vinegar.

This is where it gets interesting. The instructions said to dissolve the salt in the vinegar. Only problem was the salt would not dissolve no matter how much she stirred. To this day it still hasn't dissolved.

The salt brand is great value from Walmart. Or more correctly, it is bleached sand from china distributed by Walmart.

Bleached sand? Sorry but I'm skeptical. Or are you joking?
