I read today in US History about the Quota Immigration laws during the 1920s. Are they still in effect?

I won't be happy with any plan that doesn't START with completely securing the border even if it means militarizing it in certain locations. If that happens I am somewhat flexible on everything else. But anything else without securing the border is pointless and if securing the border doesn't happen first then it will never happen.

Agine it will look something like amnesty for all, no boarder security and a little mix of the same s#%# of pork packed into the deal.

Final bill will probably be something like ten new miles of fence to be completed by 2050, a couple of new border agents to replace those killed by Fast and Furious firearms, blanket amnesty with a built in voter registration run by ACORN, and 500 billion in unrelated pork.

There's a problem with that--the Zetas are the most likely to make it past the mines, and I'm pretty sure most people wouldn't want them as "members of the club."
