Hello this is John (Mugsy). I am brand new to OK. I am recently retired from the USAF (24 years) and now working for the Army at Ft Sill.
Coming from Georgia where there was a great group - The Outdoors Trader ( www.theoutdoorstrader.com ) and from what I have seen so far it looks like this is another great group.

My interests are primarily pistols, revolvers, carbines and I have just started dabbling in restoring/refinishing handguns.

Any advice on where the good ranges are for pistol shooting would be appreciated.

This is my first post. I am a retired police officer. I have lived in the great state of Oklahoma my whole life. I have shot guns from the age of 12 and still enjoy shooting. Got into reloading about three years ago. Load mainly 38 special and 45 acp. I shot in PPC competion in the late 70's and 1980's.It seems to have died down since those days. Is there anybody on here that shot PPC in that time period? Made a lot of good memories and friends. Nice to meet everybody.

Hi to everyone, I am just a casual plinker; by no means an expert. I do have an SDA license and I do practice. I prefer my Ariweight revolver for self defense but enjoy shooting my .22's for fun. Maybe I can learn more about the shooting sports, self defense and overall safety here!
