Originally from Indiana, I moved here from Chicago a few months ago and am excited to get back into shooting! When you live in a place like Chicago for a while you begin to forget that the sport even exists. It is great to be able to hit up a gun show every other weekend and to have access to multiple ranges within a 10 minute drive! Don't ever forget how much of a luxury those kinds of opportunities really are.
Since I have been here I have been working on improving my pistol shooting skills. I took my CCW class the second weekend I was here and am still having to check the mailbox diligently hoping that it is going to be my lucky day. I'm looking to acquire a small semi-auto, maybe a Kahr PM9, for when that day comes.
I am interested in volunteer opportunities that will help preserve our Second Amendment Right. I'm not an attorney, but I do have some background in law and political science that I hope will make me valuable to the cause. If anyone can point me in the right direction on this, please don't hesitate to let me know!
