My lower will be in on Monday and I'm wanting to order a lower parts kit for it and was wondering if the CMMG stage 2 kit was worth the money? If it's not what would you recommend in that price range or less?

I bought a CMMG 2 stage trigger LPK and did not care for the trigger. Find a Rock River Arms LPK with 2 stage trigger, much better trigger IMHO. I don't know if he has any right now but reddog1 (username on OSA) carries them. Send him (Patrick) a PM and he will get back with you quick.

Nothing wrong with CMMG from what I've read, but the National Match 2-stage kit from RRA is something you can't go wrong with. Plus, you'd be supporting one of our forum members.

What he said. I've got a PSA + JP springs and it's not far off the $120 RRA 2-stage I had in my last AR.

The CMMG LPK trigger and JP springs pull weight is measuring just under 4 lbs.

Don't get me wrong, there are better triggers, but the RRA & CMMG 2-stage triggers aren't them.

This. For me there are two options. Install a regular mil-spec LPK with a set of JP springs and speed cut the hammer, or install something that's marked with a "G".
