You mean like Waco and Ruby Ridge?

Yep, and besides people dying for the actions of our government, what happened? Nothing. Is anyone going to take responsibility for Fast and Furious, no, the lack of leadership in Libyan embassy attack, no. So, obviously, the only thing we can do is hope we're not next in line. Sorry, but we are at the mercy of our government. I haven't stopped caring 100%, but I see where we stand, and it's a losing battle, all I can hope for is that there is some truth to what liberals say around here, is that it's not as bad as we think. I'm not trying to sound like we have been defeated, I'm just tired of putting so much of my time into hoping and expecting things will turn around when I know there not, so I'm just taking the "wait and see" approach.

Ever hear the frog tossed into a pot of cold water slowly heated up vs a pot of boiling water and what he does story?

If I had to bet I'd bet a liberal democrat originally told the story to some young liberal democrats as a lesson in how to change a culture.

Yes, and I have used it many times myself and you're probably right. I think I'm just tired of all the arguing about the future of this country. I don't like the way it's headed, I don't think it's right, but it can't be stopped. We'll just see what happens.

Guys, the country is changing. It has changed. Hell, I'm 44 and when I was a kid, you rarely saw black folks in commercials and you almost never saw Asians or Hispanics. When you did, they were typically some stereotypical character. That was probably a semi-accurate reflection of the country in that we just plain did not have that many minorities in professional positions, etc.

Nowadays, it is totally different. Think what you want, but money doesn't lie. Simply follow the advertising trends and that will tell you we are a much, much more diverse country than we were even 20 years ago.

You all might as well learn to adapt, otherwise you're in for more misery.

Pretty much where I'm at as well. If the voters can place the "gimme gimme" regime in place twice over, the country is not headed in a favorable direction.

And this has what to do with this video and the ever-expanding police-state ? You just had to throw out a liberal diatribe somewhere ?

If you're talking to the former majority, they're likely in for misery, regardless. Google "South African farmers" for lessons in what happens when the former ruling class becomes the ruled. The first page should be enlightening. I'm not sure what kind of "adaptation" is required, or would even be effective.

The sad thing is many of the former majority in the United States (and Europe) actually welcome it.

The words "good", "positive" or even "pleasant" are conspicuously absent. I Hope the Change doesn't destroy civilization.
