Just remember, the Koran says the Earth is flat and that a man's sperm comes from an organ in his back. Sorry...even though I have proved my tolerance on a case-by-case basis and pragmatism when it comes to Islam, I just could not help pointing these things out as I recall them.

As for the anger and angst in these types of threads, it's tough to see the world in which you grew up change so quickly.

I suspect that it's much less about "hate" and much more about feeling like you are constantly being told your core beliefs are somehow "wrong." Yet, you are expected to be tolerant of everyone and everything, yet not afforded that same courtesy.
