I geuss its a good idea. Would make me feel kinda weird if i bought a woman a drink and she whips out the straw. Whats she thinking, every guy is a rapist? Why would she be there if she thought that?

Would you feel weird if you found she had a CCW? What's she thinking, everybody is out to kill her?

if she was a armed ccw in a bar id be suspicious. If you think you might need a special straw, perhaps you shouldnt be accepting drinks from strangers. If ya think you'll hafta use your ccw, perhaps you shouldnt be there.

Im no closet rapist and dont condone rape of any kind, however, when i was single and bar hopping, if i bought a woman a drink, i was hopeing to get "lucky". Im sure most women who frequent bars/clubs understand the rituals and if a straw makes em feel safe, im cool with that.

It's not only the person that buys te drink that may slip something into it. I know men that have been drugged in bars and rolled in the parking lot later.

Personally, I think it's a great idea and I think any woman going to nightclubs should own one.

Im suprised the straw wont detect rohypnol (ruffies), I thought that drug was real popular but what do I know. A straw that only detects two drugs tells me that the criminals will just switch their weapon of choice.
