It's finally happening

I closed on mine in April. Took forever and i said forget it weekly. Overall i'm happy with what i got. I plan to buy another one every 3-5 years for rent houses. The house i'm currently in with insurance is a little over $700 a month. There is one next door to me almost identical that rents for $1000 a month. I'm not hoping to get rich off this but i am planning for these to be my retirement one day.

Congrats! It's awesome to actually build equity instead of just handing over a rent check each month.

I'm closing on my re-fi this Tuesday. Going from 6.25% down to 4.125%! Gonna save me about $175/mo. I look like I've swallowed a hanger since I heard what my payment's going to be.

I loved the process; its an experience Ill never forget.
Everytime for the first year or so, whenever I would pull in the drive, I had this awesome comforting, all is right with the world, feeling.
