It's pretty obvious who's going to win the Heisman...

If any of you are watching the ESPN awards, you know what I mean. They might as well give it to him now. Every time they mention T'eo or show a clip, it's got an announcer saying Heisman moment. They even did a stupid clip with Lee Corso and T'eo chasing him around for saying a linebacker won't win. We have the new media darling. I feel sorry for Johnny Manziel and especially Colin Klein.

I never, NEVER feel sorry for those wusses at the QB position. The fact that so many of them win the award for best player in college football, is ludicrous. Defensive players like T'eo make a much greater contribution to their team then some pretty boy who throws the ball.

You can't seriously say that Colin Klein wasn't more valuable to his team than T'eo? T'eo is a great player and all, but he's not involved in every play and how many games would Notre Dame still have won without him? I guarantee you it is more than K State would have won without Klein...

All of that aside, I think all three guys are great, I just have a general distaste for the media when they show such an obvious bias towards one player that it influences the results. They really locked on to the emotional story of T'eo and his grandma/girlfriend dying on the same day and from there it has been all about him. The same thing happened with Tebow...

Without T'eo ND would have gone from #1 and playing for the National Championship to just barely making a bowl game. Without Klein, K-State still wins the Big 12 and lands a BCS bid.

I think you're out of your mind if you think K State wins the Big 12 without Klein...T'eo is good, but Klein is 98% of K State's offense.

Totally different position, different side of the ball, and I don't think Klein is an NFL qb, but I do think he is by far the most valuable player in the country to his team. Taking nothing away from T'eo, he's the best linebacker in the country, just don't know if I'd put him #1 on my ballot.

So? The Heisman is not about the best offensive player or QB, it's about the best player, period. What position he plays makes no difference. It's about how good he is. T'eo is a better player than Klein, and has been FAR more important to his team. You could throw an orangutan in a purple jersey and he could lead the Wildcats to 9 wins easily.
