What's so poetic about Brady's death being ruled a homicide is that Hinkley can't be punished for it. The lefties who wish to hug every thug ever to victimize an innocent removed that possibility with his adjudication as being too insane to know what he was doing even though he went to great lengths to plan and execute his attack.

The 1986 FOPA was amended at the last minute before passage by voice vote to include an irrelevant section banning all NEW full autos registration under the 1935 Act.
After the long hard battle to get the demo dominated congress to pass the FOPA (Firearms Owners Protection Act) which stopped states like NY and MA from putting hunters in prison for a year for driving through their state on the way to Maine without a state permit to own, it was an agonizing decision to request the President to sign it, but we did.
The feeling was a Republican congress would repeal the added section later, but it never was.
