Anyone else tying jigs? I just started so mine aren't much compared to some I've seen but it's pretty fun so far.

I love to tie flies for trout in Colorado and always wanted to tie jigs for crappie here at home. Those look really good! Do you cast your own jig heads?

So far I just buy the heads. Some of those guys tie crazy flies for trout.
It’s amazing how much hackle and flash one can buy at hobby lobby, cheap.
Absolutely. I also buy most of my body material at Walmart. When you buy a skein of yarn that contains around 75 yards and cost 4 bucks you never run out. Some things I buy at Adams Fly Shop at 123rd and N. May Ave. Tom has an excellent selection and reasonably priced.
