agreed. too much division over politics (much like the rest of the country) and no enough respect/understanding for varying viewpoints. It's made for a much less communal environment these past few years.

Exactly. I don't even participate in those types of threads as things get nasty pretty quick. I just stick to technical discussions on guns and the classifieds section and the ocassional thread like this one.

This place has really changed thru the years.

Nov. of '05. #332. Never really intended to post much, that's why I chose a fictional name.

Kinda funny. I think we hit our stride back in '08-'09. Not sure really what to think of the place anymore. Still like it and plan to keep participating, but it doesn't feel like a community the way it did back then.

I liked those days. Several of us would meet up almost weekly to eat then shoot or bbq at the range.
