Judge Declares Obamacare Unconstitutional

If this holds up, then the entire legislation will fail. Obamacare, whether you think it's a good idea, or not, is in essence a 'house of cards', contingent upon the foundation card of "Everyone MUST buy insurance." If that fails, it's toast, and that's what's at issue here. If you don't HAVE to buy insurance, but yet the other (constitutional) portions of Obamacare say in essence "everyone gets covered and you cannot deny based on pre-existing conditions", then it will of course quickly go bankrupt, since no one's gonna buy insurance until they get sick, among those currently uninsured.

So seems to me it's not just "one part" of Obamacare, as the defenders of Obamacare seem to be saying - it's for all the marbles.

Kudos to this oustanding judge - Vinson. Good idea or not, it's pretty clearly unconstitutional, seems to me.
