Just for everyone's information, Cam Edwards was also the morning talk show host at KTOK in Oklahoma City for several years. I recall that he had read a letter to the editor from a super-liberal to the liberal minded Oklahoma Gazette that complained about liberals not having a voice in Oklahoma. Cam researched and found the guy and offered for him to call the show during an upcoming show and have his say.
When the guy called, he actually bombed quite a bit, even though he had the opportunity to prepare himself and what he would have to say. So, being the "whiner" that he was, he complained that he didn't have enough time to present his case. So, Cam offered for him to go onto the talk show live from the studio off of I-44 in OKC and have a full hour to present his case. The poor guy (the liberal) still bombed out, even with that excellent opportunity.
If nothing else, Cam was fair, as well as critical, to those that couldn't present a good case. If you called in to the show, you really had to be "on your game."
It was always a good show with a lot of excellent information. I was bummed when he moved on, but it has shown to have been a good thing career move for him.
