So we trian these men and women in proper firearms procedures, give them training for combat situations, and rely on them for the defense of the nation and then prohibit them from defending themselves and their brothers and sisters in arms in their own homeland. That's some of the worst political logic I have ever seen....
That sucks.
Seems that outside the gate on public property might be a great place for an Open Carry demonstration with signs stating "We are here to protect you" as the big wigs drive in and out might be appropriate.
This is just one tiny example of why one would have to be mad to serve in the military today.

No difference from my active and NG time of the late 70s thru the mid-80s. I'm pretty sure I wasn't mad then or now.
