Kahr slide melt

alright maybe im an idiot, ive been called one before thats for sure, but what is slide melting? that slide looks damn fine and i would love to have some of mine look like that but what am i looking at?

I put the slide in a 4800 degree blast furnace for 35minutes to give it a melted look.
Google a kahr P9 and youll see the difference.
